Artista is an online store for art supplies in Georgia — paints, canvases, brushes, mediums, easels, paper, pencils and markers for professional artists, studios and beginners alike. I co-founded the business.

Artista sells art and craft supplies online across Georgia, including brands such as Mont Marte and Pébéo. The catalogue is organised by category — paints, canvases, brushes, mediums, easels, paper, pencils and markers — alongside sculpting and modelling materials and craft and DIY supplies.

The store runs in Georgian, Russian and English and delivers across the whole country: 1–2 working days in Tbilisi and 2–4 in the regions. A blog introduces the brands and categories and offers practical guides, such as putting together a first drawing kit or choosing a gift for a creative person.

Challenge

Choosing art materials is hard without guidance: every technique calls for different paints, papers and brushes, and product information is usually available only in English. The store needed to make a large catalogue easy to navigate in three languages and deliver anywhere in Georgia.

Solution

A Shopify store with a catalogue structured by category and brand, collections for new arrivals and offers, quick add-to-cart, a trilingual storefront with light and dark themes, and a blog that explains the materials — so browsing works equally well for professionals and beginners.

Process

The store is built on Shopify with a customised theme. The catalogue, collections and translations were structured category by category, and in September 2026 the blog went live with guides on brands, categories and first purchases.
